Daddy Cool is a Bollywood remake of Death at a funeral directed by Frank Oz.The movie talks about Daddy Cool Douglas Lazarus played by Sharat Saxena. His son Steven Lazarus (Suneil Shetty) is an aspiring writer, who tries to give a decent funeral to his father on his death. But later discovers that the dead body, inside the coffin, is not of his father’s.
The son delivers a speech on funeral in which he mentions about rivers of Goa and further says, “He did not have money to support himself or his dogs.” Stevan is not all set to take the responsibility of his mother after father’s death. Now the real estate manager tries to get the property of the family under the name of Stevan’s wife to disallow mother-in-law Mrs. Lazarus to get hold of the property. Maria’s (Tulip Joshi) groom to be, Michael (Aftab Shivdasani) eats drug, which is provided to him by Maria’s brother Harry (Chunkey Pandey).
